Your most powerful tool is clarity.

The Audit is a diagnostic service. We assess how you're positioned in the market, what you're selling, how visible you are, and how you're getting work. You receive concise recommendations across four critical modules, specifically designed to identify what's broken and what it would take to fix it.

Most creatives and studios have multiple systems breaking down at once. The Audit identifies which ones, and in what order.

Why do an Audit?

Our deep background in the independent marketing services industry has given us unique insights into what a successful firm looks like and how to get there. The reasons for conducting a Benchmarking are numerous.

Get unstuck.
You know you're undercharging. You know something's wrong. You just can't identify what. The Audit shows you exactly what's broken.

Understand the priority.
Is it a positioning problem? Is your offer invisible? Are you publishing but nobody's listening? Are you still chasing leads? You need to know the order to fix them.

Know what it takes.
We show you not just what's broken, but what effort and investment it would take to fix it. So you can make an informed decision.

Upon completion, you'll have clarity on:

1. Positioning
Why clients perceive you as an executor, not a strategist. What a defensible position looks like. What it takes to own it.

2. Service Offering
Why your offer isn't moving clients from price to value. How to structure it differently. What needs to change.

3. Publishing & Content
Why your visibility isn't building credibility. What a publishing system looks like. What cadence and consistency matter.

4. Sales Strategy
Why you're still chasing leads. How to get in before the brief exists. What inbound momentum requires.

5. Lead Flow
Where prospects get stuck in your funnel. Where they drop off. Why qualified leads aren't converting. Bottlenecks from awareness to decision to becoming a client.

6. Mindset & Culture
Who you are as a founder and what you actually believe about your work. What limiting beliefs are holding you back. How your team sees the business. Whether your positioning and offers align with how you actually want to work.

Deliverables

Concise recommendations.
We'll give you carefully stated findings across all four modules—not theory, but what's actually broken.

A clear action plan.
For each module, here's what's not working, here's what could improve, and here's what it would take. No guessing.

Recorded sessions and transcripts.
Before each module, a PDF explaining the thinking. All calls recorded.

The Audit

Upon completion of your materials review, the audit examines six critical systems across your business.

1. Positioning

How clients perceive you. Where you sit in the market. Why you're perceived as executor, not strategist. What a defensible position looks like. How to own something specific.

2. Service Offering Design

What you're selling. Why it's invisible or generic. How to structure an offer that sells thinking first. Bundling. Pricing models. Client journey and on-ramps.

3. Content Playbook

Your publishing rhythm (or lack of it). Whether you're building visibility or just making noise. What a content system looks like. Cadence. Topics. Audience clarity.

4. Sales Strategy

How you're getting work now. Why you're still chasing leads. How to get in before the brief. What moves clients from price negotiation to value conversation.

5. Lead Flow

Where prospects get stuck. Where they drop off. Why qualified leads aren't converting. Bottlenecks in awareness → consideration → decision → client. What's blocking momentum and where the funnel is leaking.

6. Mindset & Culture

What limiting beliefs holding you back from owning a higher position or bigger offer. How your team sees the business. Whether your positioning and offers align with how you actually want to work.

Timeline

Performance Audits typically take four to six weeks to complete. A principal from your firm must participate.

Week 1–2: Materials Gathering

You pull together client work, pricing, marketing materials, proposals, anything you've published.

Week 2–3: Materials Review and Surveys

We send surveys to principals. We review everything.

Week 3–6: Working Sessions

Four working sessions—one for each module. All recorded. Homework between sessions (thoughtful, under an hour each week). Positioning might require multiple meetings.
