STUCK WITH LOW-BUDGET CLIENTS?

Underpaid. Asked for too much. Feast or famine. You didn't spend twenty years getting this good to keep working with low-budget clients. You want a real business. On your own terms. Not a big agency. A small studio. The kind clients chase. Twelve weeks to build the position that gets you there. About four hours a week.

From Good to Great

You’re good at what you do. Maybe even exceptional. But you know there’s another level.

Bigger clients. Bigger budgets. Better projects that finally show what you’re truly capable of—if only you had the chance.

That’s exactly what this ACCELERATOR is for. To help you break through that invisible budget ceiling—not by working harder, but by doing things differently.

Because here’s the truth: better clients don’t come from hustle.
They come from positioning. From communicating your value in a way that clicks with the people who are ready to pay for it.

Our ACCELERATOR is built to help you attract better clients and bigger budgets with precision and confidence, using the same methodology Marko has refined over 12 years to market world-class companies and advise top-tier design studios who gladly paied a premium for his guidance.

It’s not about being louder. It’s about being seen—by the right people, for the right work.

From Good to Great

You’re good at what you do. Maybe even exceptional. But you know there’s another level. You can feel it. That ceiling you keep hitting. You're good at what you do. Really good. Your work is solid. Clients respect you. But something is stuck. You're still doing the work someone else planned. Still chasing projects. Still watching other studios win the big jobs, studios that aren't better than you. They sit at the table early. They get real freedom. You get to build what someone else already decided.

Bigger clients. Bigger budgets. Better projects that would finally show what you're capable of, if you got the chance. And you know why you don't. Deep down, you know.

So here's a question:

When a client tells someone else what you do, what do they say?

If they list the things you make, that's your ceiling. Not your work. It isn't your portfolio. It isn't that you need better case studies or a new website. It's that you still look like someone who makes things. At the next level, your portfolio matters far less than you think. At the next level, clients call because of how you think. Because you have a point of view. Because they want your brain in the room before anything gets decided, not your hands afterwards.

The Budget Ceiling

We're told there are two paths. Stay freelance and stay stressed. Or grow into an agency with staff, meetings, and thinner margins than you had alone. There's a third. The small studio, one to ten people, running a premium process. What stops most people is a chain. You're known as a maker, so you keep your opinions to yourself. Nobody knows what you stand for, so nobody hands you the strategy. You're never in the room when the money gets decided, so the ceiling stays. Change the first link and the rest follows. Known as a guide, you say what you think. People know what you're for. They bring you in to decide, not to deliver. You're in the room before the budget exists, and the budget moves. That's the whole thing. It's just hard to see, because you can't see your own position from the inside.

You've got twenty years of judgement. You've just never been asked for it.

Sagmeister. Rubin. Pentagram.

Names that don't chase clients. The ones clients chase. They got there because people know how they think. What they see. The problems they spot that nobody else does. Here's what most creatives do instead. They try to escape making by making more. Better portfolio. Nicer case studies. More polish. It doesn't work. The market already knows you as a maker.

You can't polish your way out. You have to position your way out.
You already think differently. You have real opinions about how work should be done, why some choices matter, what actually makes a difference. You just haven't learned how to say it yet.

It isn't about being louder. It's about being seen — by the right people, for the right work.

TWELVE WEEKS, FOUR ASSETS

Four things that exist at the end and didn't exist at the start.

Asset 1: Your Positioning

FOCUSED

We work out where you actually fit. Not what sounds clever — what matters to your market, and the real problem you solve better than anyone. Then you write your manifesto. Your take, in your words. That's what makes the right people notice you.
Asset 2: Your Offer

MAGNETIC

What makes someone trust you enough to hire you? What's the real offer — the one that opens a bigger conversation instead of getting priced against three others? We build it together.
Asset 3: Your Outreach Plan

CONNECTED

How you meet people. Who you reach out to. How you start a conversation. Most of us wait — for a referral, an agent, someone to remember our name. We build a real process for reaching the people who hire people like you. Not spam. Real conversations, started before there's a brief.
Asset 4: Your Content Playbook

VISIBLE

What you post. When. Where. How often. Most creatives don't post because they're not sure what to claim, so people know your work and not your head. We turn your position into a rhythm you can keep. One idea a week, in your voice. When people know how you think, they call you for it — and there's nothing left to pitch.

BY WEEK TWELVE YOU'LL HAVE

  • A position you can say in one line, and defend in a room
  • An offer that opens the bigger conversation instead of getting quoted against three others
  • A content rhythm that fits your energy instead of draining it
  • One published piece that says this is who I am now
  • A real process for reaching the clients you want
  • Clarity on what's next, and the confidence to lead with it

TWENTY-FIVE SESSIONS IN TWELVE WEEKS

Not too many. Not too few.

  • 1 private one-to-one session
  • 11 live Thursday calls. Your questions, answered
  • 3 guest sessions with people who've done it
  • 11 challenge modules, one per asset per week
  • Office hours in the group chat, throughout
  • Everything recorded, with searchable transcripts
  • My frameworks, tutorials and custom AI agent. Positioning work in minutes instead of months

WHAT YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO DO

Watch the challenge module on Friday. Answer it by Thursday. Bring your questions to the call, or ask them in the chat. That's the job. About four hours a week, two to three on calls, the rest on your own work. Most of which you're already spending on your business, just on the wrong things. You won't have to step away from client work. But you do have to show up.

HOW IT WORKS

Twelve weeks. Here's the rhythm.

We start October 13 with a kickoff call. Two weeks off at Christmas. We finish January 29 — a good start to your new year.

Week 1 — Kickoff call. We meet, work out where everyone is, and start the first asset.

Every Friday — The challenge drops. One asset, one week, due Thursday.

Every Thursday — Live call. You bring your questions. About the challenge, a client, pricing, whatever is stuck. I answer them. No question is too small.

In between — Office hours in the group chat. Ask when you're stuck, not when the calendar says so.

Monthly — A guest from my network. Past guests include Danae Gosset, PJ Richardson, Radim Malinic, Santiago Carrasquilla, Enric Godes and Héctor Ayuso.

Week 12 — You leave with four assets and a position. The group stays open at €100 a week if you want to stay.

THE ROOM

Thirty people. Not three. Not three hundred. Three is a coaching call. Three hundred is a course with a chat box. Thirty is the number where someone asks you a question you hadn't thought of, someone close enough to your situation that it matters, and there are still enough of you that the questions cover ground you'd never find alone. Every one of them has been doing this for years. Every one of them is stuck on some version of the same thing. And every question in that room gets answered.

WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE AFTERWARDS

Hey Marko. I’ve already applied what we’ve talked about and it has made it easy to close deals AND I now have a bit too much work on!!!

Daniel Neale
Founder, Motionstory

With Marko's guidance, I unearthed a hidden skill within me that I did not even know existed. I am now able to teach others how to exude confidence on camera. Kudos to you, Marko! Your brilliance knows no bounds!

Deyson Ortiz

Marko's energy and clarity are insane. He jumps right in and keeps the goal in focus the whole day. Result: positioning, product definition, plus a plan for marketing. Immediately actionable and grained with success. It doesn't get any better than that. Thank you, Marko.

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS

One member was quoting €5k projects. By the end they were closing at €20k. Same work. Same studio. Different position.

The twelve weeks cost them €3,000.

One landed a retainer after years of job-to-job.

One went from calling themselves an agency to calling themselves a studio. They told me they could finish the year proud of themselves. First time ever.

Bianca said: "I found myself."

Tavis said: "Three months that changed things. I'd tell anyone who feels stuck to do it."

Florian remembered why he started, and rebuilt a practice that makes sense to him.The money is real. But it's not what most people talk about first.

Nine out of ten tell me the same thing. They finally feel allowed to be themselves in a business that rewards putting on a show.

Turns out that matters more to them than the money.

WHO THIS IS FOR

  • You want bigger budgets and better clients because you want to make better work
  • You're ready to be seen, heard and understood, and afraid that means selling out
  • You've outgrown your positioning and your current clients
  • You know you need to change, and you don't know how to speak to that next level of client

Not for you if: you want more clients at the same budgets. Or you want someone to build it for you. That's the advisory, not this.

Let's be clear about my role

My job isn't to make you feel good. Nor to sell you content. It isn't to tell you your dream will happen if you just believe harder.

My job is to tell you the truth. What works. What doesn't. And to push you to do the things you are not willing to do, yet.

Sometimes that means telling you your position is wrong. Sometimes it means telling you your point of view isn't finished yet, and what's missing. Sometimes it means telling you to put more work into your outreach and build a routine.

I won't soften it. You don't need it softened. You need someone honest. That's what I'm offering.

YOUR HOST: MARKO PFANN

I've been the fast-growth, thirty-five-people-on-payroll studio founder myself.

Today I keep it lean. I work with independent creative firms from Berlin to Barcelona and Amsterdam to Austin, and I teach the rest through this twelve-week programme.

I've done some cool stuff. I spent years travelling the world as a freelance motion designer, working out of studios in Europe, Australia and Asia. I built a motion studio in 2012 and we rebranded more than sixty TV stations, the idents, the titles, the whole on-air look of channels people watched every night without wondering who made them. Around twenty awards along the way.

Then I exited, and advised a two-person studio that turned a five-figure execution brief into a seven-figure project for RedBull.tv, with the mandate to lead it. Two people, against agencies fifty times their size.

Three hundred firms since. Several went from six to seven figures. One is now an eight-figure business. And I co-founded Paradiso Institute, which is a non-profit and a support network for our creative industry.

Twenty-five years in the industry, twelve of them advising. I do my best work with independent studios who are good, know they're good, and are tired of being treated like a pair of hands.

Ready?

Thirty places. Applications close October 1st. I read every application myself and come back inside 48 hours either way. If it's a fit, we talk. Me, not a closer. If it isn't, I'll tell you that too, and I'll tell you why.

The things people ask me in my DMs:

What actually is this?

>

Twelve weeks of advisory work with a room of thirty experienced creatives. Not a course. No lessons to finish. No certificate. You build four things, and at the end you have them.

Who is this for?

>

Experienced creatives who know their work is good. You have clients. Just not the ones you want, at the budgets you want. If you're two years in and looking for your first clients, this isn't for you.

How much time does it take?

>

About four hours a week. A call on Thursday. A challenge on Friday, due Thursday. And the work itself. You won't have to stop client work. But you do have to show up. People who don't show up don't get much out of it. That's not a threat. That's just how it goes.

Do I have to be there live?

>

No. But Thursday is where most of it happens. That's where your questions get answered. If you miss one, ask in the group chat and I'll answer there.

Thirty people. Will my questions actually get answered?

>

Yes. Every question on the Thursday call gets an answer. Anything that doesn't fit in the hour gets answered in the group. If you want time alone with me on your business, take the private track.

How is this different from a course?

>

A course hands you information and hopes you use it. Here you bring your real business and your real questions, and get real answers. A course can't see you. I can.

What does it cost?

>

€250 a week for twelve weeks (= €3,000). The private track is €500 a week (= €6,000). You pay weekly and can stop any time. For context: if one project moves from €5k to €20k, the whole thing is paid for five times over. And it's roughly 5% of what a full one-to-one engagement costs.

What if it isn't for me?

>

Then stop paying and leave. No questions, no awkwardness. And if you're unsure before you start, apply anyway. I'll tell you honestly whether I can help. Including when the answer is no.

Can’t I just figure this out with AI?

>

You could. Some people do. Most don't. The thing in your way is hard to see from where you're standing. It's a position, and you can't see your own position from inside it. That's basically why this exists.

What kind of results can I expect?

>

Depends on whether you do the work. One member went from €5k budgets to €20k. One landed a retainer after years of job-to-job. Most describe something harder to measure. They stop apologising for what they're worth.
