What our members say

You probably know this loop

Someone else writes the brief > You quote against three others > You take a bit off the number, because you'd rather have the job than the principle > You give them more than they paid for, because that's who you are > They ask for changes, and you make them, because nothing in your process says otherwise > Then it goes quiet for a month > Then you take the next underpriced job, because quiet months are frightening.

And the ceiling sits exactly where it was.

Here's the deal

Most creatives are great at their craft but don’t know how to access that next level.

When you don’t have a plan to grow your business you:

ONE

Because you are positioned as an executer, you stay stuck in survival mode at the same level, same income and never break through the ceiling.

TWO

Because you don't know how to talk about your work and what makes you unique, you waste time and money on strategies that promise the world but simply don’t work for you.

THREE

You’re operating in a silo. No peer mentorship. No one to talk to. No framework to lean into. You lose confidence in your ability and start to believe you’re not cut out for more.

The budget ceiling stays exactly where it is. And you too.

The Budget Ceiling

It runs in a chain, and each link creates the next one.

You're known as an executor.
→ So you keep your opinions to yourself.
→ So nobody knows what you stand for.
→ So they don't hand you strategy.
→ So you're never in the room where the number gets decided.
→ So the ceiling holds.

Change the first link and the rest follows:
You're known as a strategist.
→ You say what you think, out loud, without hedging.
→ People know what you're for.
→ They bring you in to decide, not to deliver.
→ You're in the room before the budget exists.
→ The budget moves.

That's it. That's the whole mechanism. It's not complicated. It's just invisible from where you're standing.

This is the path

We've been taught there are two paths: stay freelancing and stressed, or "scale" into an agency with payroll, management meetings and margins thinner than you had solo. But there's a third path. The 1-3 person studio running a premium process. It's how I've run Electric Brands for a decade. It's how I've built world‑class brands like Heaps Normal, Hyro, Posca, Frekl, Koja and more. It's the best business model in design - and nobody teaches it. I do.

THE THIRD PATH

You were offered two options. But there's a third.

One: stay solo and hope the phone rings.

Two: scale. Hire people. Take on payroll and overhead and risk, and watch your margin get thinner than it was when you were on your own.

I did the second one. Thirty-odd people, sixty TV stations, a shelf of awards. It was the least free I've ever been.

The third one doesn't get talked about much.
Stay small deliberately. Get known for how you think. Sell the thinking, and let the making follow it.

Bigger isn't better. Better is clearer. That's the boutique model. It's what I've taught for twelve years and it's what this is.

WHAT YOU'LL BUILD

THE FOUR ASSETS

Four things. Not four modules — four assets that exist at the end and didn't exist at the start.

Asset 1

1. Boutique Positioning

A position someone recognises in one line. Most of us position around what we make. "We do motion." "We build brands."Which makes you one of forty, and one of forty competes on price. So we move you onto what you think, for whom, and why it matters. When that's clear, people stop asking what you cost and start asking what you'd do.
Asset 2

2. Magnetic Offer

A first engagement that sells your thinking. If you sell execution, every conversation opens with "how much" and every proposal is a quote. Then you're defending your hours against someone cheaper. So we find the thinking you currently hand over for free, and put a price on it.Once the first engagement sells the thinking, the making arrives at a different number. And the cold proposal disappears.
Asset 3

3. LinkedIn Content Engine

A publishing rhythm you can hold. Most creatives don't publish because they're not sure what they'd claim. So you're known for your work and unknown for your head.We turn your position into one idea a week, in your actual voice. Not thought leadership. Just you, thinking out loud. When people know what you think, they call you for it, and there's nothing left to pitch.
Asset 4

4. LinkedIn Lead-Engine

A way into the room before the brief. Most of us wait. For the referral, the agent, for someone to remember our name at the right moment. So we build a real process for reaching the people who hire people like you.Not spam. Conversations that start before there's a budget attached.

HOW IT WORKS

Twelve weeks. This is the rhythm.

Kickoff-Call — A cumminity call, to get to know each other, to work out where you actually are and what you build first.

Fridays — The challenge drops. One asset, one week, due Sunday in the group.

Thursdays — Live call. Bring your challenge work. I will answer any questions regarding the challenge or any other related business issue.

Office hours — For when you're stuck, not when the calendar says so. Ask your question in the group and I will reply.

Monthly — A guest from my vast network. Past guests include: Danae Gosset, PJ Richardson, Radim Malinic, Santiago Carrasquilla, Enric Godes, Héctor Ayuso.

After twelve weeks
The community stays open. €100 a week if you want to stay.

WHO'S RUNNING THIS

I'm Marko Pfann, and I've made most of these mistakes already

I started as a maker, because that's what I was good at.

In 2012 I built a motion studio. We branded sixty-odd TV stations, picked up twenty-something awards, and grew to thirty-plus people on payroll. It went to seven figures quickly.

I've also done some other stuff along the way. Travelled the world as a freelance motion designer from 2003. Coached three hundred-plus students. Advised a hundred-plus studios, agencies and brands one to one — one of them is now an eight-figure business. Built a consultancy and sold that too. Co-founded Paradiso Institute. Reinvented myself three times, which sounds tidier than it felt.

The studio is the part worth telling you about, though, because it's the part that went wrong. Big budgets meant big risk. Big teams meant thin margins. I sold it, and I had clients waiting for me to start the whole thing again, and I said no — because the thought of it made me feel completely empty.

Then I consulted a two-person studio stuck at the exact ceiling you're at.We repositioned them. Executors to guides. One change.

A five-figure execution brief turned into a seven-figure project with the mandate to lead.

That was twelve years ago and three hundred studios ago, and the pattern hasn't changed once.

Move the position from executor to strategist, and the budgets move with it.

Who this suits

You've been executing for years. Your craft is solid. You want better clients with real budgets, and you want to be known for how you think. You're tired of being last in the room. You want to be first.

Not for you if: you're looking for more clients at the same budget, or you want someone to build it for you. That's the advisory, not the accelerator.

TWO ways to join

Two tiers. Same programme. One upgrade.

ACCELERATOR
LIVE

A private onboarding call to map where you are
Four assets built, not taught
A challenge every Friday
A live call every Thursday
Office hours for when you're genuinely stuck
Three monthly guests from the Paradiso network
A small, vetted group of peers doing the same work
All of it stays yours

€125/week for twelve weeks

ACCELERATOR
PRIVATE

Everything above, plus six one-to-one sessions where I interview you properly. How you see the industry. What you believe. Why you decide things the way you do.

Then we turn it into something published — a long-form piece, a newsletter series, or a whitepaper. You finish with something that shows how you think, not just what you've made.

€500/week for twelve weeks

This is an accelerator program not a hostage situation. If you don't like it you can cancel anytime. No process, no awkwardness.

LIVE WEEKLY
Coaching & Community

What people actually say afterwards

One member went from €5k budgets to €20k.

One landed a retainer after years of project-to-project.One repositioned from agency to studio and told me they could close the year genuinely proud of themselves, which was the first time.

Bianca said: "I found myself."

Tavis: "Transformative three months. I'd recommend it to anyone feeling stuck."

Florian reconnected with the reason he started, and rebuilt a practice that makes sense to him.

The money stuff is real, but it's not what most people lead with.

Nine out of ten tell me the same thing: they finally feel allowed to be themselves in a business that mostly rewards performing.

Turns out that's worth more to them than the numbers.

I need to be clear about something

My job isn't to make you feel good. It's not to help you chase your big dream and tell you it's all possible if you just believe harder.

My job is to tell you the truth. What works. What doesn't. Sometimes that means telling you your positioning is off. Sometimes it means saying your perspective isn't fully developed yet and what's missing.

I won't soften it. You don't need softening. You need honesty. That's what I'm offering.

The things people ask me

What actually is this?
Twelve weeks of advisory work with a small group. Not a course. There are no modules to complete and no certificate at the end. You build four things — a position, a first engagement, a publishing rhythm, a route to the people who hire people like you — and you finish with those four things existing.

Who is this for?
This is for brand designers who already know they’re good—but are tired of winging the business side. If you’re freelancing solo, running a small studio, or reinventing yourself after years in agencies, and you want a calm, profitable setup without staff bloat or chaos, you’re in the right place.

How much time does it take?
Three to five hours a week. A live call on Thursday, a challenge on Friday that's due Sunday, and the work itself. You won't need to step away from client work. You will need to turn up, and the people who don't turn up don't get much out of it. That's not a threat, it's just how it goes.

Do I have to be there live?
No, but the Thursday call is where most of it happens. You bring your actual work and I read it back to you honestly. That doesn't happen in a recording. If you miss one, ask in the group and I'll answer there.

What happens when I join?
You get instant access to everything. You’ll start working through the in-depth video training modules and worksheets inside Brand Mastery Accelerator, and you can jump straight onto the next live Value Call (we run them twice a week). From day one, we focus on simplifying your studio, tightening your process, and putting you in a position to charge considerably more money. You’ll also get access to TalkShop, which are intimate monthly expert guest sessions. There’s a private jobs board with real live briefs, often worth more than the entire investment in the programme.

What’s included in the programme?
You get six levels of structured, step-by-step training covering mindset, operations, strategy, design, and delivery, plus six full months of mentoring with two live calls every week. You’ll also get access to my entire studio system - proposals, decks, templates, dashboards, onboarding flows - the exact tools I use inside my own studio, Electric Brands. On top of that, you’ll have the marketing and sales playbooks, custom-built AI tools to speed up your workflow, guest expert sessions (TalkShop), a private jobs board, member perks, a tight-knit designer community, and your VIP welcome pack and Brand Mastery Certification.

How is this different from other courses?
Well, first of all—this isn’t a course. In fact, I’m slightly offended you think it is. It’s a hands-on, guided system with live mentoring, feedback, accountability, and a community of designers actually doing the work. This is built to help you grow into a confident, top 1% brand designer with real outcomes—not just more tabs open.

How much does it cost?
We've got two options. Either a $7,500 USD investment for a 6-month membership, or a $3,000 USD investment for the 6-week sprint. We have payment plans available, and most members make their money back pretty quickly.

Do you have any sort of guarantee if I don’t like it?
Absolutely. There’s a full 14-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee. If you join and it’s not what you expected, or you just change your mind, we’ll refund you in full. No hoops. No drama.

Can’t I just figure this out with AI?
You could. Some people do. Most don't, because the thing in the way is invisible from where you're standing — it's a position, and you can't see your own position from inside it. That's more or less the entire reason this exists.

What kind of results can I expect?
If you show up and apply the work, this will completely change your business. One member landed a $20K project (that I provided) on Day 11. Another closed a $60K project in Week 5 ($8K was their biggest job before joining). Others replace their full income with one or two dream clients. This programme is built to get you wins fast.

One last thing

If you've got this far, you're probably already very good at what you do.

But you might be stuck in the same loop.

Underquoting. Overdelivering. Always one quiet month from taking work you don't want.

You didn't spend twenty years getting this good to execute someone else's decisions, take round seven of changes, or chase invoices from people who never saw what you brought.

You got into this to do work that matters. With people you respect. Paid properly. And to enjoy the life you built around it. Which yes, includes making money.

That's the whole point of the Accelerator.

This isn't a course you watch once and forget. It's twelve weeks of advisory work with a small group of experienced creatives, building the position that gets you called first instead of last.
Here's everything you get inside:

Your position — one line the right client recognises. Not what you make. What you think, for whom, and why it matters.
Your first engagement — an offer that sells your thinking, so the conversation stops opening with "how much".
Your publishing rhythm — one idea a week, in your voice, so people know what you think before they call.Your way in — a real process for reaching the people who hire people like you, before the brief exists.
A private onboarding call — just the two of us, mapping where you actually are and what you build first.
Live session every Thursday — you bring your work, I read it back to you honestly.
A challenge every Friday — one asset, one week, due Sunday, in the group.
Office hours — for when you're genuinely stuck, not when the calendar says so.
Monthly Paradiso guests — past guests include Radim Malinic, Héctor Ayuso, Danae Gosset, PJ Richardson, Santiago Carrasquilla, Enric Godes.
The group — small, vetted, senior. People who've been at this as long as you have.
Everything you build stays yours — the position, the offer, the rhythm, the process.

I'll also tell you the parts I normally leave out:
How I built a motion studio to thirty people and seven figures, and why it was the least free I've ever been
How one repositioning turned a five-figure execution brief into a seven-figure project with the mandate to lead
What it's like to sell a company, have clients waiting for you to start again, and say no because the thought of it makes you feel empty

Twenty-five years in. I'm still learning. But I know where this ceiling is now, and I know what I wish someone had told me at year ten.

Here's the thing though — I don't take everyone.

Twelve places, then the doors close. That's not a marketing trick, it's just how the work runs. Any bigger and I can't give you the attention that actually moves anything. So we keep it small and keep the room good.

The investment is €[ ] for the twelve weeks, or €[ ] if you want the interview and the published piece. There's a payment plan, if that helps with cashflow.

There's also a two-week window. Come in, look under the hood, and if it's not for you inside the first fortnight, you get every cent back. No questions asked.

So here's how it works.
Click apply below and answer the questions. Takes about three minutes. Put some thought into it — low-effort applications rarely get through, and the questions are there because your answers tell me whether I can help.

I read every single application myself. Within 48 hours I'll come back to you either way.

If it's a fit, you'll get on a call with me. Not a closer. Not a sales rep. Me.

If it isn't, I'll tell you that too, and I'll tell you why.
If you've read this far and you're nodding along, odds are this is for you.

You already know you're capable of more. What's missing isn't skill — it's the position, and someone who'll be straight with you about where yours is off.

That's what the Accelerator gives you.

There's no reason you can't be paid for how you think. You just need to be shown how it works.

Hope to see your application come through.
